about

Gary Ritchie & Jeff King were going to break in a new studio. So what better material to record and test the studio than The Beatles!!

Because of all the fun we had making this album, we made 4 more Gary Ritchie solo albums. "Pop! Radio" "Hum, Sing...Repeat!" "Drake, Near the Alley" and "Pop'-ti-mis'-tic." Jeff also has a solo album (unreleased) in the works.

This will be avaIlable for a VERY LIMITED TIME!!!

credits

released January 1, 2000

Gary Ritchie plays drums and sings 20 songs.
Jeff King plays guitar & bass and also sings "All I Gotta Do" & "You Won't See Me."

"Beat The Meatles!" is a VERY RARE find. It has NEVER been available for sale! It was recorded in 1999 and finished in early 2000. Only family, friends, fortunate insiders & thieves are the only folks with an actual cd version. So now, for the very first time it's available (download only) to the masses. It's gathered a Cult following through the years. Many, many people have asked me to release this album. Now, with most folks "Downloading" things these days, this seemed like a good time to get it out there. So, enjoy it, it's a fun one.

about

Gary Ritchie Texas

Gary's "real" instrument would be drums. But, he is a full, fledged Pop guy. Plays most of the instruments & vocals on his albums. A former Chicagoan now living in Austin, Texas. Loves a melody with a Big-Beat behind it. With 4 full length solo cd's behind him, he's loving the freedom of recording what and when he wants. So enjoy! ... more
